The Riding During Your Visit
A variety of trail rides are available for all breeds and riding disciplines. Set your own pace and difficulty of trails, or hook up with a group and explore. Everyone loves to share their favorite trails. Go all day or for a few hours. The scenery is beyond all expectations…with tall pines, lush ferns and wildlife. We are open approximately from Mothers day till the 15th of October depending on the weather.
Conveniences While You Are Here
Ice is available. Indoor bathroom facilities, showers, sinks and flush toilets. Marienville is just 15 minutes away and Kane is just 30 minutes. Each offers Pharmacy, restaurant & groceries. Kane also has a hospital.
Electric
Electric is available at an extra charge $12.00 per night per rig. Must reserve electric prior to arrival as the sites are limited.
Bring Your Own Horse
Summers is not a dude ranch, we do not rent horses. Prices subject to change without notice. All guests must sign a “Waiver of Liability” on arrival. Children under 18 years of age must have “Waiver of Liability” signed by a legal guardian or parent accompanying reservation. Summers Trail Ride is not responsible for injury, loss or damage to personal property and reserves the right to dismiss person(s) for undesirable behavior. No generator to be run between the hours of 8pm and 7am. All visitors must register with the office and will be charged a fee for campground use. This is for everyone on the grounds even if you are not participating in the trail rides. i.e. hiking, biking, 4-wheeling, fishing, etc. NO STALLIONS ALLOWED.Dogs are welcome but must be quiet and leashed at all times.
Stalls will be rented for the use of stabling horses. Stalls will not be used for any other purpose.
Rates for Campground Facilities
Rates are $14 a night. Each unit includes 1 person, 1 horse and 1 stall. Hot showers, fire wood if available. Children under 10 years of age stay free. Stall rate for child is $6.
A non refundable deposit may be required for large groups and busy weekends.
Please call ahead because some weekends are reserved for private parties.
